Sen. Pacquiao always gives me guidance to win in Brisbane - 'Kid Pacquiao' Dapidran

Jonel "Kid Pacquiao" Dapidran shared how his cousin Sen helps him. Manny Pacquiao has also been up for grabbing like his idol.

In an interview on Dapidran, he did not hide the excitement of his first battle outside the Philippines.

According to Dapidran, 19, he has long dreamed of fighting abroad.

He admits he cannot believe he will fight as one of the undercard of the Pacquiao-Horn showdown that will take place at more than 50,000 setting capacity at Suncorp Stadium.

Jonel (8-1, 4KOs) will face Australia's Brent Dames (5-3) in six-round junior super lightweight bout.

Dapidran is the second Pinoy to fight the undercard of the fighting senator.

Pacquiao's other protégé is Jerwin Ancajas (25-1-1, 17 KOs) who will face Japan's Teiru Kinoshita (25-1-1, 8 KOs) in which two IBF world junior bantamweight crowns will be contested.

Dapidran said that Manny admonishes him to practice just fine and focus on his career.

Apart from this, Pacman also has moves or tips that teach him to make the ring's approach better.

"Actullay also advises me to train hard and to focus on training," said Dapidran. "There are also moves that he gives me and little tips for not struggling in the fight."

Meanwhile, Dapidran called for support and prayer for their fighters in the "Battle of Brisbane."

The 5-foot-9 Dapidran is Pacman's second cousin.

Dapidran is under MP Promotions and was part of the eight-division world champion in training camp in General Santos City.
