Philippine team Gilas Pilipinas will enjoy the service of Filipino-German Christian Standhardinger for the upcoming international competitions.
Team Gilas added that Standhardinger's arrival was made possible by the “Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas” president Al Panlilio, Gilas team manager Butch Antonio, and national team coach Chot Reyes.
Reyes is deeply grateful for the arrival of the Fil-German because he will add up to the team’s strength especially against taller opponents.
Fortunately, the 27-year-old 6-7 Standhardinger and Kobe Paras are in fine condition and are ready for service.
Gilas has started training sessions for the Jones Cup in July to be held in Taiwan and August in Malaysia for the SEA Games.
